It has narrow, elegant deep green leaves on tall, arching canes and a graceful, fountain like shape. New canes emerge with purple tones and a pale, waxy bloom before ageing to green. Hardiness and seasons: This is a hardy bamboo, comfortably taking cold down to around 15C, which puts it in the fully hardy range for most of Britain. It is
